Job Overview
AAT Lecturer (part‑time, 2 full days per week) in the Accounting faculty at East Surrey College – Redhill. The role involves teaching AAT Levels 2‑4, assessing student progress, providing pastoral support, and contributing to curriculum development.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective AAT lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Assess students’ progress and support their learning journey.
* Act as a personal tutor, providing pastoral care and promoting attendance.
* Support students in obtaining suitable work placements.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning, development and review activities.
* Drive continuous improvement within the College.
Qualifications
* A teaching qualification at Level 3.
* A Level 4 AAT qualification (preferably a degree).
* Previous FE teaching experience delivering AAT courses.
* Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification.
* Mathematics & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent.
Hours & Salary
Hours: Monday and Friday – 8:45 am to 5 pm. The hourly sessional rate is £35.73 (including £5.96 for annual leave).
Salary: £31,990 – £41,718.11 pro‑rata (subject to qualifications, skills and experience).
