Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and crowd management. Duties
* Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
* Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to oversee activity within and around the premises
* Perform regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security risks or suspicious behaviour
* Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
* Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid when necessary
* Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
* Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
* Assist with crowd control during events to ensure a safe environment for all attendees
Qualifications
* Proven experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention roles is desirable
* Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
* First aid certification is highly advantageous
* Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable hours as required
* Valid security licence or certification as per local regulations is preferred but not essential
