Duties as an English Teacher: Teach English Language and Literature across KS3/KS4/KS5 Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners Prepare students for GCSE/A-Level examinations with a focus on high achievement and progress Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events Participate in curriculum development and whole-school literacy initiatives Ideal English Teacher: QTS and a degree in English or a closely related subject Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for literature and writing A reflective practitioner with high expectations of all students Excellent classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment A team player committed to continuous professional development as an English Teacher.
