Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Immunisation Staff Nurse - Secondary Schools Flu based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis from 14/09/2026 to 27/11/2026.
Hours
27.5 hours per week, working 09.00 – 15.00 Monday – Friday. Annual leave week on 12‑16 October.
UK Driving Licence
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What You Will Do
You will work as part of an integrated NHS Children and Families Health team, delivering immunisation services in all secondary schools in the three localities in Ayrshire, ensuring a high‑quality patient‑centred provision which is responsive to local need.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post
* Registered Nurse
* Evidence of further professional development
* Demonstration of communication skills
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team promoting integrated nursing approaches
* Experience working with children and families
* Community experience desired
