Home Manager – Templeton House Care Home
Location: Ayrshire, Scotland
Contract: Full Time
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum. Annual bonus (up to 40% KPI related), Private Medical Insurance, Pension, 5.6 weeks annual leave.
The Templeton House Care Home is a 69‑bed care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care across three dedicated communities. It has a strong reputation, a loyal team, high quality care, and a 9.9 Carehome.co.uk review score. Occupancy remains healthy and agency usage is low.
The home holds Care Inspectorate grades of 3, 4, 4, 5, 5. We are looking for a leader who can drive greater consistency, strengthen clinical oversight, develop the team and continue improving the quality of care and resident experience.
The Role
As Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, performance and culture of the home. You will provide visible, hands‑on leadership, creating an environment where residents receive outstanding care, colleagues feel valued and supported, and families have complete confidence in the service. Working closely with your Regional Director and wider support functions, you will lead the home through its next phase of development, focusing on quality, people, reputation and sustainable growth.

Who We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Home Manager in a nursing, residential or dementia care setting
* Strong track record of delivering quality improvements and positive inspection outcomes
* Ability to build and retain high‑performing teams
* Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills
* Commercially aware and confident managing budgets and occupancy
* Builds positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and regulators
* Confident managing change while maintaining team engagement
* Holding a nursing qualification is desirable but not essential
* Visible leader who acts with integrity, compassion and accountability
