In the Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) Platform, our mission is to reduce harm to our communities by enhancing the Group's capability to prevent, detect and respond to economic crime. The Platform sits within Consumer Relationships and plays a critical role in providing services across the whole Group.
What you'll do
As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll also hold overall responsibility for leading and directing a diverse workforce to achieve the business strategy, Inspiring people, achieving their full commitment to do the extraordinary.
1. Collaborating with Product Owners, Platform Leads, Enterprise Architects & Engineers to create the Architectural runway for our Platform teams.
2. Providing analysis of options and deliver end-to-end solution designs using relevant architectural building blocks as well as producing designs for features that enable frequent incremental customer value delivery.
3. Promoting adaptive design practises to drive collaboration across Platform teams centring on a common vision with continuous feedback.
4. Owning the technical design risks or issues and driving resolution through architectural or agile practises.
5. Setting guiding principles and solution success criteria for platform capability or feature development across our Platforms.
6. Providing oversight & foster built in quality, decoupled & modernised architectures.
7. Makes a significant improvement on short-term or long-term business performance by recommending authoritative technical and/ or professional solutions.
8. Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.
9. Manages a significant portion of the organisation's risk management and/ or control process, contributing to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
10. Initiates, formulates and implements new business practices for own discipline, while managing the development and/ or delivery of a significant element of the organisation's change management programme.
11. Takes responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department.
What you'll need
12. Strong experience of solution design, security & resilience patterns
13. Strong knowledge of microservices, containerisation, cloud native and event-driven design concepts
14. Strong understanding of API standards, security and gateway patterns
15. Strong understanding of data technologies - SQL/ NoSQL, Big Data
16. Knowledge of cloud architecture, in particular GCP
17. Knowledge of monolith to microservice patterns
18. Strong experience & knowledge of some key LBG development technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, Python)
19. Excellent Stakeholder and Relationship management skills.
20. Strong ability to influence customers at a senior level across job families
21. Strong understanding of building applications through containerised microservices-based architectures, with a working-to-strong understanding of cloud methodologies
