As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive revenue through both solution sales and our resourcing services.
This is a pure sales-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and loves creating new opportunities. You’ll be selling a mix of technical solutions and our specialist technical resourcing services (on-demand and permanent staffing) to clients across a range of industries.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and lead generation – building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Outbound calling and outreach to engage potential clients confidently.
Meeting with clients (virtually and face-to-face) to present solutions and staffing services.
Delivering engaging presentations and demos that win business.
Selling value, not just price, and building trusted client relationships.
Working to KPIs, targets, and deadlines consistently.
Developing innovative strategies to attract and retain clients.
Collaborating with marketing, bid, and delivery teams to craft winning proposals and pitches.
Representing Akoni at networking events, industry meetups, and partner sessions.
What We’re Looking For
•3–6 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within technology, staffing solutions, or professional services.
• A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Confident on the phone and in person – not afraid of cold calling or pitching.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for pitching solutions and resourcing services.
• Creative and proactive mindset for generating new business opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple sales streams (technical solutions and staffing services).
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven.
