Job Title: School Caretaker (Full-Time & Part-Time)Location: LiverpoolPay: £17-£18 per hourStart Date: ASAP
Are you a reliable, hands-on individual looking for a rewarding role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting School Caretakers for a number of primary and secondary schools across Liverpool, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening and closing the school premises
* General maintenance and basic repairs
* Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and well-maintained
* Managing health & safety checks and compliance
* Supporting with setting up rooms for events and activities
* Liaising with contractors and school staff when required
Requirements:
* Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (preferably within a school setting)
* Basic DIY and maintenance skills
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
