Site Support Runners
Lightways (Contractors) Limited is a family run business with over 40 years of experience in streetlighting, surfacing, and reinstatement.
Our company has extensive experience in surfacing and reinstatement of carriageways and footways of all surface types, including asphalt, bitmac, slabs, block paving, setts, and granolithic concrete. All construction works are carried out by our own team of trained and qualified staff.
To meet the demands of our customers, we have a requirement to recruit a number of Runners to our reinstatement division, who will support the setting up and clearing of our clients' sites before and after work is completed. We are looking to recruit to both our Larbert head office and our Mayfield (Dalkeith) depot.
A full Driving Licence is essential for these posts.
* Ensure yourself, others, and the working environments are safe in line with Lightways' Health & Safety Policy
* Undertaking vehicle checks before shift begins and input information in to app for recording/monitoring purposes
* Driving between sites as directed by management
* Clearing sites of traffic and pedestrian management
* Leaving sites clear
* Providing photo and video evidence of sites on request
* 9-hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* There is opportunity to work overtime, where available
* MUST hold a full Driving Licence
* Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Be willing to learn and develop new skills
* Demonstrate good time management
* Be comfortable in seeking direction from management
The salary for these posts is dependent on experience. Lightways (Contractors) Limited is a Living Wage employer.
