We’re looking for highly social, proactive and entrepreneurial people to help build local, real-world communities around Syndi through meetups, events and in-person engagement.
This is a highly community-facing role focused on organising local meetups, growing communities and bringing people together through real-world social experiences.
This is not a purely online/social media community management role.
What You’ll Do
* Create and grow local communities through platforms such as Meetup, WhatsApp and Facebook Groups
* Organise and host in-person meetups and social events
* Meet and engage with people in your local community
* Help introduce people to Syndi and lottery syndicate play
* Build relationships with local venues, cafés, pubs and coworking spaces
* Recruit and engage new community members
* Gather feedback and community insights
* Help grow awareness of Syndi locally
What We’re Looking For
* Prior experience in events, community building, PR, hospitality, nightlife, grassroots marketing or social organising
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
* Highly proactive, organised and self-driven
* Confident hosting social gatherings or meetups
* Familiar with platforms such as Meetup, WhatsApp Communities or Facebook Groups
* Strong local network is a plus
* Interest in startups, community-led brands and social experiences
Compensation
