An elite global hedge fund is now seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on its trading infrastructure. To apply, you will ideally be CCIE qualified with a strong background in low latency and multicast networks. Our client is a leading global market maker with an emphasis on technology to match. They seek an experienced profile who would look to build ultra-fast and reliable connectivity to proprietary trading technology, invariably around a bleeding edge Cisco environment.
Responsibilities
* Design, deploy and troubleshoot global network infrastructure
* Design industry leading networks
* Implement optimisations to build low latency network
* Work on network redesign, expansion and upgrade
* Support trading teams in relation to high frequency
* Automation, capacity planning and connectivity advancement
* Manage network expansion, upgrades and support
* Provide expert support to high frequency trading teams
Qualifications
* LAN/WAN, Data Centres - VXLANs
* Cisco, Juniper, Arista
* Palo Alto & Fortinet Security
* MPLS, BGP, OSPF, multicast, TCP/UDP
* Automation and Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform
* Linux operating systems
* Financial/Trading environment experience
* Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualified or equivalent experience in a trading environment
