About the role
1. Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:how to use a variety of in-house commercial modelling tools & concepts and understand how they can be used to support effective commercial choices in our sectorworking alongside highly respected experts as a core member of the teamreal practical experience
2. Assist the team e.g. with: a variety of different offshore energy generation projects, undertaking modelling work and contributing to team and stakeholder meetingssolving complex problems - we will value your innovative and fresh thinkingworking on your own development project, enhancing one of our tools or creating a new model
Job requirements and experience
3. You´re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Engineering or other highly numerate discipline
4. Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
5. You have very good verbal and written communication skills
6. You´re able to coordinate your own workload and to meet tight deadlines
7. Working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders every day is something you feel comfortable with
8. You score points with your MS Excel skills which are at least on an intermediate level

Advantageous, but not essential
10. You have other modelling skills such as experience using Python, VBA, HTML and Microsoft Azure cloud services
