Hours: Monday to Friday 9 - 5
We are recruiting for registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Southampton who want to use and to build upon their clinical skills and knowledge. This role offers an excellent work-life balance and professional development opportunities as a PIP or WCA Functional Assessor.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience and registration in the UK. The role involves growing your medical knowledge across medical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, offering a salary of £37,500 (PIP) - £40,000 (WCA) per annum, plus:
* £1000 salary uplift after 6 months and another £1000 after 12 months
* Work-life balance: 9 am - 5 pm contracts with no nights, weekends, or shifts required
* Up to 10% performance bonus upon approval as a Functional Assessor
* Hybrid working with at least 2 days per week at consultation centres

The role involves conducting file reviews, face-to-face, and tele/video assessments related to PIP or ESA benefits, and preparing reports for DWP decision-makers. Assessments focus on how disabilities impact daily life and work activities.

Requirements
* Minimum 1-year post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist
* Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or others), with a valid PIN and no restrictions
* Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and probe
* Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
