Specialist Trainer - The Built Environment
Salary Details: T49 Fixed (£42.16 per hour)
Working Hours: 3 Hours per week (approximately 60 Hours in total)

Qualifications/Experience:
Ideally you will hold a qualification closely related to the following disciplines:
1. Building Services Engineering, Building Physics, Built Environment, Construction, or a closely related discipline (Level 5 or above) and have a strong knowledge of thermal performance of buildings, lighting principles and calculations and building acoustics fundamentals.
2. You will have significant relevant industry experience within the built environment sector and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to Level 4 learners. Familiarity with CABE, CIBSE guidance, or Building Regulations (Part 1) is desirable, along with teaching experience or experience preparing learners for exam-based assessment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching that supports learners in developing both conceptual understanding and applied calculation skills in preparation for a 2-hour written examination. This module introduces learners to the principles underpinning thermal comfort, lighting design and building acoustics, with strong emphasis on applied calculations and professional standards aligned to CABE accreditation.
You will have a passion for teaching future construction professionals about the technical aspects of the industry and the range of roles they can apply themselves to. You will use digital technology in the classroom to create innovative and exciting lessons. You will have knowledge of changes within the sector and the ability to demonstrate this to learners; you will have the ability support learners in all aspects of their learning.

Yn ddelfrydol, byddwch yn meddu ar gymhwyster sy'n gysylltiedig yn agos â'r disgyblaethau canlynol;
3. Peirianneg Gwasanaethau Adeiladu, Ffiseg Adeiladu, Amgylchedd Adeiledig, Adeiladu, neu ddisgyblaeth sy'n gysylltiedig yn agos (Lefel 5 neu uwch) ac mae ganddynt wybodaeth gref o berfformiad thermol adeiladau, egwyddorion a chyfrifiadau goleuo a hanfodion acwsteg adeiladu.
4. Bydd gennych brofiad sylweddol yn y diwydiant perthnasol yn y sector amgylchedd adeiledig a'r gallu i esbonio cysyniadau technegol yn glir i ddysgwyr Lefel 4. Mae cyfarwydd â CABE, canllawiau CIBSE, neu Reoliadau Adeiladu (Rhan 1) yn ddymunol, ynghyd â phrofiad addysgu neu brofiad o baratoi dysgwyr ar gyfer asesu seiliedig ar arholiadau.
Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn darparu addysgu diddorol, sy'n berthnasol i'r diwydiant sy'n cefnogi dysgwyr i ddatblygu dealltwriaeth gysyniadol a sgiliau cyfrifo cymhwysol wrth baratoi ar gyfer arholiad ysgrifenedig 2 awr. Mae'r modiwl hwn yn cyflwyno dysgwyr i'r egwyddorion sy'n sail i gysur thermol, dylunio goleuadau ac acwsteg adeiladu, gyda phwyslais cryf ar gyfrifiadau cymhwysol a safonau proffesiynol wedi'u halinio ag achrediad CABE.
