Job Title: Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene/ Treatment
Location: South East England
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare
OTE: £65K+
Summary
An established, employee-owned environmental services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Facilities Management and end-user sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering compliance-led water hygiene and treatment solutions. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors
2. Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions
3. Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
4. Maintain and grow existing accounts
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery
6. Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g. ACoP L8, HSG274)
Requirements
7. 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in water hygiene or FM
8. Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management
9. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
10. CRM experience and full UK driving licence required
