OLG Recruitment are looking for an E&M Planner for our client located in Cumbria This is a permanent position working full-time, Monday-Friday.
Job Specification & Responsibilities
The primary function of the role is to ensure all Statutory Inspections, Planned Maintenance, routines, defects, projects are planned in line with the site operational needs and priorities.
To ensure all Planned Maintenance is completed in good time.
Monthly reports are to be completed that demonstrate the effectiveness of the CMMS (Maximo) and highlight any cause for concern that may need escalating.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to -
· Maintain a 12 month look ahead Maintenance Delivery plan showing the key maintenance activities throughout the year so that a budget submission for the Annual Operating Plan can be completed.
· Planning and scheduling of work from the CMMS system, consistent with meeting production requirements and maintaining legislative compliance.
· Issuing of a Schedule of Programmed Maintenance, Defect Rectification and any assigned Project Works on a Weekly basis and showing a 3 week lookahead.
· The effective and continued control/organisation of the site CMMS with regard to maintenance activities.
· Administrative duties associated with maintaining the PSSR system within compliance.
· Administration of the site CMMS system including creating of all PM work orders from the PM database.
Communicate these with the required personnel in good time so work can be organised ahead of time.
· Act as the custodian and drive the postponement process on a proactive basis so that there is no overdue maintenance on site.
· All reporting for CMMS work delivery and backlog.
· Where outside resource is required to deliver works, engage with contractors, and make the required bookings.
· Assign outage work list codes on a regular basis so that outage work can be grouped and scheduled by others.
Education & Experience
· Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent
· IOSH managing safely
· Understanding of key legislation that drives inspections and maintenance; Pressure
Provisions and Use of Work Equipment
· Able to use MS Excel to create reports and work breakdown structures for outages
· Able to use MS Project to create weekly schedules, outage plans and track progress against baselines.
· Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
· Completed the required company induction into this role.

· Demonstrate an awareness of and compliance with health and safety and risk management standards, policies & practices.
· Complete and maintain required training and competence assessments to be able to identify and perform safety critical tasks and activities in accordance with the site major accident hazard scenarios, as outlined in the competence management standard
