The Role
We are seeking a
Junior IT Business Analyst
to support our process improvement and digital transformation projects. This is a junior position suited to someone with around
1 year of IT, analysis, or process mapping experience
who is eager to build a career in consulting and technology.
Working on-site in Manchester, you will collaborate with senior consultants on
ERP/SAP transformation programmes
, supply chain improvement initiatives, and digital workflow projects, contributing to both technical and business-facing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
* Map and document business processes using BPM tools (Visio, Bizagi, Lucidchart).
* Assist with requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
* Analyse data using Excel and SQL to identify patterns and process inefficiencies.
* Support ERP/SAP transformation projects with documentation, requirements tracking, and testing.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and client documentation.
* Work closely with consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions.
Requirements
* Around
1 year of experience
in an IT, business analysis, or process improvement role (internship, placement, or entry-level acceptable).
* Familiarity with
process mapping tools
(Visio, Bizagi, or similar).
* Strong skills in
Excel
; basic
SQL
knowledge desirable.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
