We are looking for a Senior Account Handler to support the broking team with technical expertise and deliver tailored insurance solutions for Commercial Motor clients. Key Responsibilities Client & Insurer Service Compile market presentations to insurer partners to secure competitive quotations. Handle new business and renewals, preparing quotation reports for Account Executives. Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, delivering tailored insurance solutions. Ensure all communications are accurately recorded in line with company policies and service standards. Operational & Compliance Duties Complete all assigned processes, including: Answering incoming calls from clients and insurers. Processing vehicle changes/declarations and driver referrals. Issuing documentation, invoices, and refunds. Updating the Motor Insurance Database (MID). Managing client loans via finance systems. Handling queries from clients, insurers, and colleagues. Completing Letters of Indemnity and questionnaires. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations at all times. Complete in-house training modules and maintain up-to-date product knowledge. Financial Administration Ensure unallocated cash is accounted for and processed. Issue chase letters for non-payments and escalate overdue premiums. Liaise with Premium Credit regarding defaults and reinstating loans. Requirements Solid experience in the Commercial Motor insurance market (broker or insurer level). Strong understanding of broking processes and market dynamics. Familiarity with insurance systems and documentation standards. Person Specification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive attitude with strong initiative. Highly organised with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Effective teamworking and collaboration skills. Confident in oral and written communication.
