Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging educational activities. Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the developmental needs of children in the reception class.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that meet the needs of all learners.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies regarding children's welfare and progress.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide children in their learning journey.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A background in childcare or early years education is highly desirable.
