Elevation Recruitment are supporting a manufacturing business that are looking to welcome a skilled CNC Miller to their team, as they prepare for the upcoming retirement of a valued team member.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key hands-on role within a supportive and forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines
* Accurately setting machines right first time
* Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality
* Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing machining techniques
* Maintaining alignment with company core values
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices
* Carrying out any other tasks in line with your skills and experience as need
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
* Proven CNC machining experience
* Able to programme using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, Heidenheim
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety and workplace standards
* Knowledge and adherence to ISO9001:2015 compliance
* Understanding of 5S methodology
* Good communication and timekeeping
* A team player with a positive attitude
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Flexible and open to change

What’s on Offer:
* Annual salary up to £35,226 per annum, depending on experience
* 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
* Pension scheme: 8% combined contribution (4% employee, 4% employer)
* 39 hours/week, Mon–Fri, with a flexitime system and early finish on Fridays
