Outreach Tutor – SEMH School
Are you a qualified Teacher or experienced Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity delivering 1-2-1 sessions for students that have struggled to engage in mainstream education? This SEMH school is looking to add a tutor to deliver sessions onsite and in the homes of students who face barriers to learning.
Responsibilities
* Teaching core subjects to Key Stage 3/4 students on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
* Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students
* Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative
* Supporting children with SEMH needs in their studies
* Mentoring students who have struggled to engage with education
Requirements / Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher or experienced Tutor
* Willingness to deliver sessions onsite and in students\' homes
* Ability to tailor lessons to individual needs and cover maths and English
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between sites
