The Role
In this role, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, speech and language challenges, and behavioural or emotional needs. Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering targeted support on a one-to-one and small group basis
Implementing and adapting strategies to support individual learning plans
Encouraging independence and building pupil confidence
Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children with SEN (in school or other settings)
Be calm, compassionate and patient
Show initiative and a proactive approach to learning support
Be a team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
