Here at Kenyon International, we are seeking a highly organized Business Development Manager to research new markets, understand the competitive landscape, and track high-potential leads.

This role requires forging meaningful client relationships and handling sensitive subject matter with empathy.

You Will:


(Service Delivery)

* Identify and manage opportunities for additional sales
* Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using the company’s CRM system
* Assist in client communications to support sales initiatives
* Conduct market research to identify new sales and upselling opportunities, monitor industry trends, and analyze competitors
* Develop insights from data to improve sales strategies
* Support proposal preparation for tenders and RFPs
* Understand key departments within Kenyon, including Operations, Consultancy & Training Sales, Renewals, and Tender Execution
* Handle business documents such as proposals, contracts, invoices, and credit control
* Take photographs during events for marketing
* Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams
* Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt as needed


(Commercial Planning)

* Review announcements, schedules, and activities related to Commercial Services
* Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities
* Support deployments at the Kenyon Crisis Management Centre, including occasional weekend hours
* Represent Kenyon at industry events to increase brand awareness
* Assist in organizing conferences and meetings
* Maintain communication with lead organizations and attend trade shows
* Contribute to developing the business commercial cycle


(Business Development)

* Research potential accounts and develop relationships with key industry players
* Drive sales through inbound and outbound activities
* Develop and convert sales pipelines, negotiate contracts
* Prepare and present client tenders confidently
* Support business travel as needed
* Grow revenue from existing and new clients
* Advise clients on our offerings’ value
* Identify and develop new service opportunities
* Coordinate with managers to align resources and strategies


(Customer Relationship Management)

* Conduct client briefings
* Assess client needs and tailor solutions
* Provide proactive client support and outreach
* Occasionally travel internationally for client liaison
* Respond promptly to sales inquiries


(Finance Management)

* Review procurement contracts to protect company interests
* Negotiate terms and pricing with clients


(People Management)

* Build strategic partnerships
* Lead and optimize the Business Development team
* Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and growth
