We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is crucial in providing a pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming across designated areas.
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
* Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to environmental guidelines.
* Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
* Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Skills
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
