Conveyancer/Executive – Residential Property
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 + Profit Share Bonus
Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire
Experience: 2+ years' experience in residential conveyancing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Conveyancer or Executive to join our client's busy Middlesbrough office. This is an ideal role for an experienced conveyancer seeking to manage a varied caseload, deliver first-class client service, and further develop their career within an employee-owned, supportive firm.
The Opportunity:
* Manage a busy caseload of residential sale and purchase matters from file opening to completion
* Handle freehold and leasehold transactions with minimal supervision
* Take client instructions and provide clear, practical advice
* Obtain and prepare file documentation
* Bill files and manage client payments
* Maintain up-to-date legal knowledge and skills
* Provide delegated supervision as required
* Build and maintain a solid client base in the local area
What We're Looking For:
* 2+ years' experience at a similar level
* Sound technical conveyancing knowledge (freehold/leasehold)
* Strong understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
* Literate, numerate, and capable of presenting cases orally and in writing
* Strong IT skills (Windows, Word, Excel)
* Flexible, 'can do' attitude
* Satisfactory absence record
