Senior Project Manager
NHS Borders Digital Delivery Team seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive digital transformation, focusing on Patient Administration and Clinical System updates across Primary and Secondary Care and national initiatives.
Location: Hybrid / Huntlyburn Terrace, BGH, Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, overseeing the full project lifecycle.
* Produce and maintain key project documents such as delivery plans, RAIDD logs, PIDs and business cases.
* Matrix‑manage multidisciplinary technical teams and provide direction, advice, and support to project stakeholders.
* Communicate and negotiate with technical and non-technical experts and managers internally and externally.
* Balance multiple priorities and support the successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications
* Minimum of five years IT project management experience.
* Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering multiple projects with diverse technical solutions.
* Experience managing full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
* Knowledge of IT technical delivery areas backed by formal qualifications, training, and experience.
* Experience working within the NHS is advantageous but not essential.
