Food Production Operative
Location: Lordswood, Chatham
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (30 min unpaid break)
We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative to join a busy and growing food production team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with pay increases available after a successful 12-week probation period.
Duties Include:
1. Preparing, slicing, and packing meat products, including pork
2. Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
3. Working within a chilled production environment
4. Some Heavy lifting and manual handling duties
5. Following all health & safety procedures
6. PPE must be worn at all times. This is supplied including safety boots
Requirements:
7. Comfortable handling meat products, including pork
8. Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
9. Reliable with a good work ethic
10. Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
What We Offer:
11. £12.90 per hour
12. Monday to Friday shifts – no weekends
13. Full PPE provided
14. Temp-to-perm opportunity
15. Hourly rate increase after 12-week probation period
