Main Purpose:
We're looking for a well-organised and detail-focused Production Planner to join our clients Supply Chain team.
In this role, you'll plan, schedule, and coordinate production to make sure everything runs smoothly and that products are delivered on time. You'll need strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Sometimes, during busy periods, you may be asked to help with extra admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage production schedules based on demand, stock levels, and production capacity.
Track production progress and address any potential delays.
Lead twice-weekly production meetings to review plans, resolve issues, and align teams.
Prioritise tasks for internal production and assembly work.
Act as the main link between Sales/Client Support and Operations for updates on orders and delivery timelines.
Handle scheduling conflicts and find solutions to keep production on track.
Manage relationships with external fabricators and subcontractors, ensuring they deliver on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Work with suppliers to address any quality or delivery problems.
Keep the Supply Chain Manager updated on production progress.
