We are recruiting for a committed and adaptable LSA – Barnet to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Barnet. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people and contributing positively to education and training within a diverse school community.
The appointed LSA – Barnet will provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs, working closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported. As an LSA – Barnet, you will assist with differentiated learning, behaviour support and monitoring student progress.
This LSA – Barnet position offers excellent experience for individuals considering a future in teaching, educational psychology or wider education and training roles. What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs
2. Assisting teachers in adapting lesson content
3. Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
4. Monitoring and recording pupil progress
Essential Skills & Experience
5. Experience working with children or young people
6. Understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
7. Calm and patient approach to behaviour management
