Class 2 HGV Driver (Cat C) – Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Near Dover, Kent
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £14.50 per hour (overtime after 45 hours, £21.75)
We’re recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver to join our client based near Dover, Kent, with an immediate start available.
The Role
1. 07:00 starts, Monday to Friday
2. Driving a 26-tonne flatbed vehicle
3. Delivering timber components including roof trusses, open web joists, I-joists, spandrel panels, and gable panels
4. No nights out required
5. Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported
6. Complying with all health, safety, and road regulations
What You’ll Need
7. Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card
8. Previous experience driving flatbed vehicles preferred
9. Good understanding of load security and safe driving practices
10. Strong communication skills and a reliable attitude
