Senior Infrastructure Engineer, £45,000 - £55,000

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal role within a lean, high-impact IT team. You’ll lead infrastructure operations, guide project delivery, and act as a senior escalation point—all while mentoring others and embedding a proactive, secure, and scalable IT environment.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will:
• Manage operations across Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Nutanix, and Windows Server
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects aligned to strategic goals
• Act as senior point for 2nd/3rd line support and incident resolution
• Champion compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials Plus
• Drive improvements in ITIL processes, documentation, and automation
You will need:
• 5+ years in infrastructure/system engineering, ideally in multi-site/enterprise settings
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Nutanix or VMware, Veeam, and core networking
• Strong communicator with mentoring experience and a proactive mindset
• Proven project leadership and advanced troubleshooting skills
• An analytical, structured approach to incidents and continuous improvement
