Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Colchester.
The Role:
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
2. Work one-to-one and in small groups to provide tailored learning support.
3. Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and behaviour plans.
4. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Promote independence and emotional well-being for every child.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or otherwise).
7. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
8. Good communication and teamwork skills.
9. A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
