Eating Disorders Practitioner

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our Eating Disorder Service. Both positions are full‑time: one permanent and the other a 16‑month fixed‑term contract.
The Eating Disorders Team is a countywide service that provides clinical management and therapeutic interventions for people with eating disorders across Worcestershire.
Responsibilities
* Triaging referrals and completing initial assessments in accordance with NICE guideline standards.
* Providing evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to clients.
* Supporting a clinical caseload and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
* Collaborating with partner organisations, patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners.
* Meeting travel requirements for the role, with some ability to work from home.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
* 2 years post‑registration experience relevant to mental health.
* Experience providing psychological interventions to individuals with mental health problems.
* Participation in multidisciplinary/multi‑agency working.
* Experience working within eating disorder services (desired).
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and original certificates at point of offer.
* Education in eating disorders (e.g., Diploma in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders, Master's module or equivalent).
Skills and Knowledge
* Clear and effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge and understanding of NICE guidance for eating disorders.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2006.
* Knowledge of MEED Guidance.
* Ability to meet travel requirements.
