Store Supervisor Brentwood £40,000 We are currently seeking a Store Supervisor for our leading Engineering Contractor clients to be based in Brentwood with a salary of £40,000. Responsibilities for a Stores Supervisor Controlling and recording the receipt and issue of all materials as a Stores Supervisor. Keep the stock safe and in good condition. Maintaining a high level of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance Main point of contact for all stores and yard activities. Stores Supervisor will have to Load/Unload vehicles. Checking materials against relevant documentation. Keep the yard and warehouses tidy and well organised. Perform periodic stock counts as necessary. Record issue and receipt of Plant in the yard and pass to Plant team. Prevent or report, unauthorised removal of materials or plant from the yard. Report high or low stock holdings to Procurement team. Requirements for Stores Supervisor Telehandler and forklift operator certificates desirable. Training will be given where necessary. Able to organise and supervise a small team effectively. Health, Safety and Environmentally conscious. Adequate physical fitness for the role. Knowledge of fibre optic and telecommunications materials preferred, but not essential. Flexible, Team Player Time Management Attention to detail. Prepared to work occasional Saturdays and at other stock locations. Happy to work outside in all types of weather.
