Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing FCAW welding tasks to a high standard
2. Working primarily within our clients large fabrication workshop
3. Ensuring all work complies with industry safety regulations and quality standards
4. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
5. Collaborating with team members to accomplish project goals
6. Maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
7. Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
8. Potentially transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and availability
Job Requirements:
9. Solid experience in FCAW welding
10. Proficiency in welding within the marine sector or similar heavy industries
11. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
12. Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in welding
13. Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
Contract Details:
14. Initial contract duration of 5-6 weeks with the potential for permanent transition
15. Standard 40-hour work week with overtime available
16. £23/h Umb co Standard / £34.50/h Overtime (can go CIS)
17. £17.17/h PAYE Standard plus £2.07/h holiday pay / £25.76/h plus £3.11/h holiday pay
