We are seeking a qualified Service Advisor on behalf of a reputable automotive dealership group. This Service Advisor position presents an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to progress within a stable and professional environment.
The successful Service Advisor will be integral to delivering high standards of customer service and supporting the workshop team efficiently.

* Basic salary up to £34,000, with an OTE of approximately £39,000 including bonuses and profit sharing

Duties
* Managing service, repair, and maintenance bookings via telephone, face-to-face, and email
* Processing bookings using Kerridge (or similar) IT systems accurately and efficiently
* Liaising with workshop teams to ensure all aspects of the job are scheduled correctly
* Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process and upselling additional work or products where appropriate
* Handling all related administrative tasks such as invoicing, vehicle handovers, and payments
* Ensuring customer satisfaction standards are consistently met or exceeded
* Promoting service plans, warranties, and approved vehicle products
* Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing position within the automotive industry
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with customers and workshop staff
1. Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
2. Quick learner with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
3. PC/language skills; Kerridge/ADP experience is preferred
4. Full clean driving licence
5. Background working in accident repair, main dealer, or independent garages is highly desirable
