Senior Residential Support Worker
We’re Lancashire Care Group – a passionate, people-first organisation providing safe, supportive homes for young people. We’re proud to be growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join one of our children’s homes.
If you have experience in residential childcare and a heart for helping young people thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
What’s the Role All About?
No two shifts are the same – that’s what makes this role rewarding. You’ll be part of a warm, supportive team that puts young people at the centre of everything.
Here’s what your day might involve:
* Helping create a safe, calm, and happy home environment
* Supporting with daily routines (school runs, appointments, meals)
* Participating in activities, games, and outings
* Being a listening ear and a steady presence during tough moments
* Building meaningful relationships with young people
You will also support and guide newer team members, as your experience is valuable.
Support, Training & Teamwork
We believe in setting our team up for success:
* Full induction and training from our expert senior team
* Ongoing support from senior staff
* Regular team check-ins and reflective practice
* Relevant training and development opportunities
What You’ll Get in Return
We value your work and look after our people:
* Joining bonus and long service bonuses
* Extra rewards for excellent attendance
* Cycle to Work scheme
* Free on-site parking
* Access to Employee Assistance Scheme
* Ofsted bonus for contributing to outstanding care
What You’ll Need
* At least 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential setting
* Relevant qualifications are a plus, but not essential – we care more about your heart, values, and experience
* Questions? Not sure if you meet every requirement? Reach out to our recruitment team – we’d love to chat!
If this sounds like your kind of place, let’s talk!
Lancashire Care Group – where care is more than a job, it’s a purpose.
