We're now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
* To directly assist Management by coordinating and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date reports
* Maintaining and developing the contract through innovation, cost reduction and forward thinking
* Ensure management of drivers, to legal standard to achieve planned deliveries
* Set standards and process with staff and ensure they are maintained
* Communication with customer, regular reviews, KPI production
* Liaison with service locations to maintain fleet
* Maintain service schedule and control standards and repair costs
* Health & Safety responsibility for the operation
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Must be the O License Holder on site (Essential)
* Must have a transport manager International CPC qualification (Essential)
* Experience with vehicle tracking and driver performance
* Experience of recruiting, training, counselling and disciplining staff
* Previous and practical experience as a Transport manager/supervisor
* Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
* Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
