The Role HR Director, Global Clients & Services, will be a strategic, trusted partner to the global commercial leaders working across many of our 40 global locations. The role will help drive the broader people plan with a particular focus on supporting our global commercial, account management, and M&A teams to drive performance and client excellence through organizational design, organizational effectiveness, talent & performance management, leadership hiring/onboarding, and leadership/skills development. We are looking for a highly data literate, strategic thinker, who is comfortable working with numbers-focused commercial leaders in a globally distributed, matrixed operating environment. This is a senior-level standalone role which reports to the Senior Director, Group & Global Businesses and will be part of a global team of HR experts who partner and support over 8,000 employees in 40 countries. Main Duties As a strategic partner/trusted adviser, develop and execute people plans across the global organisation that drive improved commercial and account performance, client service excellence, digital enablement of the service lines, and alternative revenue models. Develop and execute strategic HR interventions and talent strategies in partnership with ERM's Learning & Development team that strengthen account leadership capabilities and skills to create and sustain winning account teams. Analyse key performance data and provide actionable insights to support performance management, goal setting, compensation and bonus decisions. Lead performance and talent processes for the global commercial organisation, ensuring we have the right talent with the right capabilities. Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team on attracting and onboarding new Partners, ensuring their integration into the wider ERM organisation. Develop hiring and retention plans for our biggest growth/in-demand service lines, e.g. Social, Water, Human Rights etc. Take the lead in complex and sensitive employment relations issues. Lead on the delivery of organisational change management plans and restructuring activity Work closely with Centers of Excellence to bring new thinking to client groups around talent management, learning, career progression, total rewards, as well as support program development and implementation. Analyze global market trends and provide thought leadership to the People function and commercial leaders (and their teams). Manage the day-to-day operational HR processes for the Global Clients & Services teams globally in compliance with local practises. Deputise for the Senior People Director when necessary and support team development through mentoring/coaching. Skills & Experience Demonstrable experience in partnering Executive Team level business leaders. Global operating experience within a distributed and remote working environment. High level of proficiency in analysing & manipulating complex data sets is essential. Demonstrated ability to think and operate strategically. Experience of working closely with senior leadership teams and driving commercial performance. Skilled at leading and influencing diverse geographic teams and senior stakeholders in a matrixed organisation. Ability to develop collaborative working relationships at all levels with HRBPs and HR specialists across local markets. Strong systems thinking, highly collaborative, open-minded, and solutions oriented. Knowledge and practical application of global employment laws.
