* Understand a Wing\'s Journey: Gain insights into how aircraft wings are designed and built by supporting our engineering teams on technical improvements. You\'ll see how assembly processes and engineering specifications come together.
* Improve How We Work: Contribute to projects focused on increasing our production capacity and optimising our industrial flows. You’ll see how strategic thinking impacts a real factory floor.
* Explore Digital Tools: Help us use digital technologies to improve our processes, applying your digital skills in a real industrial environment.
* Contribute to Key Projects: Be part of exciting initiatives focused on the future of our wing production, which could involve anything from digital improvements to efficiency enhancements. You\'ll get an introduction to project management basics and practice your presentation skills.
* Learning about Project Costs: Get an introduction to how project budgets are managed with support and training from the team.
* Solve Real Problems: Work with our teams and suppliers when challenges arise. You\'ll help investigate issues, understand their root causes, and contribute to finding solutions.

About us
Airbus is at the forefront of aerospace innovation. Our Single Aisle Wing Value Stream Management (VSM) team in Broughton is pivotal to our success, providing end-to-end business and industrial orchestration of Single Aisle wings and supporting operations across global Final Assembly Lines.
This internship offers exposure to the wing manufacturing lifecycle, practical experience in project support, communication, and problem solving within a supportive team.
Requirements
* Open to Undergraduates only. You must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

* Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: studying for a degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, or similar; comfort with tools like Google Workspace; teamwork; clear thinking; adaptability.
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS check. You may also need UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
