Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to join this friendly and expert team of seven. We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Henley in Arden, near J16 of the M40 and within walking distance from Henley train station. We provide first-class proactive IT support and consultancy to a variety of businesses and charities based predominantly in the West Midlands.

You will have at least 3 years’ IT Support experience, enthusiasm, a passion for IT, and a hunger to learn. This is a great opportunity to continue to gain excellent experience in a professional, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice and guidance by telephone support to customers who raise tickets via the Helpdesk; encourage tickets to be logged for issues of any size.
* Handle a varied range of tickets due to the diverse customer base and project work; contribute to learning and skills development through project activities.
* Occasionally visit customer sites; maintain a presentable appearance and professional demeanor; hold a full clean driving licence.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A*-C including English and Maths
* IT Qualification beneficial

* Excellent troubleshooter / problem-solver – analytical thinker
* Microsoft software, Windows operating systems (PCs and servers) and related troubleshooting
* Perform routine system checks on client systems and resolve potential issues
* Office 365 knowledge/experience
* Able to take responsibility for Level 1 and 2 tickets
* Active Directory experience – users, groups, permissions
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to write and maintain technical documentation for internal use
* Ability to deliver first-class customer service; good hardware knowledge

Job Details
* Working hours: 8:30–17:00 Monday to Thursday; 4:00 PM finish on Friday
* Salary: dependent on experience, starting from £23k–£27k, reviewed annually
