Animal Care Teacher (Maternity Cover) About the Role You will deliver engaging, practical lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students studying Animal Care and related land-based subjects. Working alongside our experienced animal care team, you will help students develop valuable skills and knowledge across animal welfare, husbandry and management. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering high-quality Animal Care lessons (e.g., BTEC, City & Guilds or equivalent). Teaching practical skills in animal handling, welfare, feeding and general husbandry. Maintaining excellent standards of animal welfare and ensuring safe working practices. Supporting student progress and contributing to a positive learning environment. Working collaboratively with the land-based faculty during this maternity cover period.
