Title – Event Steward
Pay Rate – £13.34
Location – Liverpool
Starting from 10th February, 15:30-21:30, 6 hour shifts, additional roster to be discussed
You will be working as a Stadium Event Security Officer. The p
urpose of your role is to ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and players by managing crowds, conducting ticket/bag checks, and patrolling designated areas.
Your main responsibilities may include:
Investigating Disturbances
: as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the venue
Access Control & Screening:
Conducting bag searches, frisking, checking tickets, and scanning for prohibited items (weapons, outside food/drink) at entry points.
Crowd Management:
Monitoring spectator density, managing the flow of people during entry (ingress) and exit (egress), and preventing overcrowding in viewing areas.
Patrolling & Surveillance:
Maintaining a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour, monitoring for potential hazards (fire/trip), and securing, restricted, or VIP areas.
Investigating Disturbances
: as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the venue
Emergency Response:
Assisting in emergency evacuations, providing first aid, and collaborating with local authorities.
Customer Service:
Welcoming visitors, providing directions, and assisting with enquiries to ensure a positive, safe experience
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
DS SIA License
5-year checkable work/career history
Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
Physically fit to undertake given tasks
Possess the ability to work under pressure
Strong English communication skills are required both verbal and written
