Financial Controls Manager
Finance & Transformation team at British Airways
What you’ll do:
* Drive and continuously improve BA’s financial control framework, ensuring itremainsrobust, fit forpurposeand aligned to business processes
* Partner with senior leaders and IAG to implement group control requirements, while reporting control performance and key risks to leadership and the Board
* Collaborate closely with Finance and IT to strengthen controls across finance systems and support delivery of key control initiatives
* Own the monitoring and resolution ofExternalAudit,InternalAuditandothercompliance actions, ensuring issues are addressed and governance standards are upheld
* Supervise and improve business-wide controls, including Employee Approval Authority frameworks, while supporting training and audit activity

Your experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
* Experience in a complex business, audit or controls role
* Strong understanding of financial controls and audit processes
* Experience working with IT on finance systems
* Familiarity with SAP, BWise or Surecloud (desirable)
* Proven stakeholder management skills
