KS1 TEACHER - Maternity Cover Post
Teachers’ Pay Range M3-UPS (£38,627-£52,490). Required from 5th January 2026.
The Headteacher and Governors of St Mary’s CE (AIDED) Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding KS1 Teacher who will lead on a subject. This is a temporary post covering the maternity leave for the substantive post holder.
Responsibilities
* Lead on a subject within KS1 and contribute to school-wide improvement as a good/outstanding practitioner.
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring a child-centred and inclusive approach.
* Promote the right of each pupil to maximise their potential, regardless of background, needs or abilities.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community; demonstrate strong organisational skills.
* Inspire and motivate children and support their academic and personal development.

* Proven experience as a good/outstanding practitioner.
* Dedicated, enthusiastic and able to make a positive impact on the whole school community.
* Child-centred, inspirational, and committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity for all pupils.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
