Principal Clinical/ Counselling Forensic Psychologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHFT to work as a Principal grade Psychologist for men and women who require Mental Health Treatment Requirements (MHTR), where they have been convicted of low-level offending and are experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance misuse difficulties.
Main duties of the job
The role involves overseeing low-level psychological interventions, including psychoeducation, for depression, anxiety, and trauma. There will also be opportunities to apply research skills to audit, policy, service development, and research within the area served by the team or service.
This part-time post will oversee the provision and delivery of the service, providing supervision and training to staff, and working with key stakeholders to ensure the mental health needs of the population are met.
