Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Toyota Dealership in Cheltenham.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, as well as 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8am to 1pm.
Excellent salary and benefits with an OTE of £32,000.
A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service, and our customers. You will be directly involved in supplying Toyota parts to the general public, trade customers, and our workshops. This role would suit a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional customer service for one of the world's leading car brands.
Role and Responsibilities
* Work involves both behind-the-scenes tasks like receiving deliveries and front desk customer service.
* Responsible for pre-picking parts for workshop job cards, picking parts for customer orders, and checking stock availability.
* Develop customer relationships through inbound and outbound calls, walk-in customers, and internet inquiries by providing product knowledge and creating a positive first impression.
* Ensure consumables and service parts are replenished regularly to provide swift service to workshops, departments, and customers.
* Handle warranty claims related to parts and complete all administration promptly and accurately, including customer records and invoicing.
* Develop knowledge of Toyota products to understand vehicle parts and their functions.
About You
* Experience as a parts advisor within a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar role is preferred.
* Alternatively, a good understanding of cars and willingness to learn is acceptable, with training provided.
* Ability to establish rapport with customers quickly.
* Proactive, sales-driven, and committed to high customer service standards.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional attitude and ability to meet deadlines.
