Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry. As a Chef, you will lead your kitchen shifts, manage food production, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will mainly be the only chef on duty at the time, due to the nature of the business, so you must be confident working alone. When business increases, this will then be re-looked at. This will be on a Marstons menu.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak times.
Skills
* Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills with a passion for cooking.
* Excellent understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
* Knowledge of food production processes and best practices for kitchen management.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
* Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Hours to be discussed, will be a minimum of 30 hours. A working day is typically from 11am - 9pm. With at least two 20 minute breaks throughout your shift.
Days are to be discussed, potential to have set days each week, if required. Not permitted to work all weekend every weekend, very good work life balance.
This position is to be filled within a month.
Wage to be discussed minimum £13.00 an hour.
