MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: The purpose of the role is to ensure all Sales orders are fulfilled and administrative tasks are efficiently processed to enable the smooth flow of Company. MAIN TASKS OF JOB : Taking customer order details by telephone and from email requests Data entry of sales orders including processing orders Raising Sales Invoices. Processing and generating transport paperwork Processing of customer payment information Confirming the status of customer orders and deliveries, keeping customers updated regarding any delays / changes on orders Dealing with day to day customer enquiries, relating to orders Answering customer (and potential customer) product enquiries Liaising closely with Transport Department To comply with company health, safety and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately. To act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices. To perform duties as directed by Manager THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment Computer literate with strong communication skills Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload Good telephone manner Flexibility to undertake a wide variety of administration tasks You will be highly organised paying attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work individually under your own initiative The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
