Are You Looking for a Role Where Relationships Are Long-Lasting and the Key to Success?
Do you believe that trust comes before teaching?
That consistency changes lives?
That the right adult can make all the difference to a child with additional needs?
We are looking for nurturing, emotionally intelligent Therapeutic Children’s Tutors to work 1:1 with a child who needs extra support in the Long Eaton area. This is not just a tutoring role — it’s an opportunity to build a meaningful, lasting relationship that supports a child to feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
This position is ideal for someone who understands that progress isn’t always measured in grades — sometimes it’s measured in confidence, connection, and small but powerful breakthroughs.
Why Do These Roles Exist?
The Government have recently released a series of extra funding to support children with EHCPs. There have been multiple studies surrounding outcomes for children who do not have a high level of attendance and who also do not receive the education they need to thrive in the future.
Through this research, it has been found that extra support should be delivered by the local authority for children who need 1:1 support to help change outcomes. This means the need for staff who are passionate about working on a 1:1 basis with children who have special needs has skyrocketed.
We have partnered with a local provider to recruit staff to help deliver this support.
If you are patient, adaptable, and passionate about therapeutic, relationship-led education, this could be the role where you truly make an impact.
